Field Trip was born at the intersection of need and desire.
The need to fill a dark, lonely chasm in the creative journey. At a certain point, it hits everyone like an unwanted flu—routine, sterility, crossroads. We all desire to do something that will rekindle our lust for peak creativity. At Field Trip we do that through creative cross-pollination—a blend of community, ideas, conversation and the freedom to simply, do.
DIFFERENT IN
EVERY WAY POSSIBLE.
Field trip is hard to explain.
It’s not a conference (we hate that word), but you definitely learn and develop professionally.
It’s not a festival, but you will experience community and the arts in a very freeing, human way. It’s never the same experience twice. Field Trip is brand new every year, never recycled, only remastered.
the faces behind Field Trip
A small group of artists and friends once gathered to talk about art in its many forms and its place in our lives.
From that conversation Field Trip was born.
Some of the original crew are still behind the scenes, chugging away, nearly falling apart at the seams, and loving every minute of it. They have opened the doors to a community of artists who have the same urge to get involved, whose seams are factory fresh and ready to be tested.
So, here they are.
